Tim Herschbach

Artist Statement: My photographic artwork represents my personal perception of the landscape. I treat light as the subject and I use nature to demonstrate that light. This approach requires constant observation while in the field and an understanding of the nature of light itself. From vision, to viewfinder, to software, to fine art print, I infuse my personal style into my work at each stage of the process. Remarkable detail, thoughtful composition, and a full range of contrast are my favorite tools that I utilize to create my expressive fine art prints. Bio: Tim Herschbach grew up in a small town in Oklahoma and spent his childhood playing outdoors in the woods, fields, streams, and lakes. He became interested in art at a young age.…

I live and paint in Pearland, TX with my dog Bella.  I find art a challenge, which I will never tire of. For me, painting means that you are forever a student where the only constant is learning.  There is no subject matter that I like painting more than another. I think of still life, portraiture, or landscape fair game. Also, I find inspiration everywhere from the morning sunrise lighting up the tree tops to a child sleeping. Finding Inspiration is endless. I started painting with oils, which I am comfortable with, but do stray into other mediums as well. I do not think that I have found a pencil, charcoal stick, or paint brush that I have not liked. The best thing about painting…

David Fraser

David Fraser, otherwise known as OZ, is an English born artist who has lived in the USA since 1994. They now live in Pearland, Texas, and visit Europe where they have their second home. With Sara’s encouragement, David began to turn a life-long casual interest in photography into a serious occupation.
