Margo I. Green holds a Degree in Art with certificates in Interior Design and Floral Design. Designed abstract impressions and the use of texture with brilliant color can be seen in her creations. Ms. Green’s work has been accepted into 21 juried shows in the past 15 years. Her most coveted award was receiving acceptance into the prestigious Hunting Art Prize Exhibition. Ms. Green has served as Exhibit Chair for Pearland Arts League for 9 years. She was Artistic Consult for the city of Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau’s “Pearscape” sculpture project. The Mayor of Pearland Tom Reid, refers to her as the “Art Lady”. Ms. Green believes “abstract” art provides the viewer an avenue to “think” and reach a conclusion of what an abstract painting means to them. Their conclusion begins a creative process of their own.
